Global compliance technology solutions and services provider Sovos has announced the appointment of Chris Clinton as its new chief partner officer. In this role, he will continue to accelerate the growth and scale of Sovos’ global partner ecosystem. Investing in partner relationships to drive innovation and secure positive business outcomes for customers across complex regulatory environments remains a primary objective.
Clinton brings more than 25 years of global partner expertise to Sovos and is well-known within the partner community. He has received multiple Channel Chiefs awards and has extensive experience growing partnership programs across several categories – GSI (global, national, regional), ISV, cloud, solution provider, OEM/Embedded, MSP, and distribution. He is an experienced channel executive who understands the approach and value of developing strong GTM partnerships that drive revenue for both partners and Sovos.

Clinton joins Sovos most recently from Appian where he served as vice president global strategic partners. Prior to joining Appian, he held senior partner leadership positions at Blue Prism, SAP, Citrix, EMC/RSA, and Blackbaud owning global partner programs, operations, recruitment, marketing, business development, and partner sales.
